This was an amazing stay at a truly gorgeous house on the river (sea). The house was immaculate. Joanna was a superb host and every detail was catered for. I would happily recommend a stay here to anyone.

House has everything you need, including super comfy beds and great views.
Joanna recommended Leonie and Neil for the Greehouse in St Keverne as a private for a birthday meal at the house. meal was fantastic. I would recommend a family group stay at this location

his is a truly unique and incredible property, perfect for large families or groups. If anything, the beautiful photos in the listing fail to adequately capture just how nice the property and its idyllic waterfront setting are.Joanna’s home is a perfect base for enjoying the southern reaches of Cornwall, or just relaxing in the home itself and drinking in the scenery. Our group particularly enjoyed sitting outdoors alongside the water/coastal inlet, and watching the dramatic tidal shifts. The kids in our group absolutely loved the area: plenty of interesting things to see and do in the tidal flats, and enjoyed brisk swims when the tide was in.
Is a beautiful home with all you could need and more.
The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and the hosts were amazing when we needed them.
The cute welcome pack on arrival was a beautiful touch. From the bedding to the knives and forks the house shines out seaside elegance.
We cannot wait to visit in the summer. Thanks for everything Joanna

A beautiful house in the most idyllic location. Very clean and and wonderful welcome pack after a long journey. For a very special occasion it was good value for money. Very much as you would expect from the website photos. We just wanted to say we had a fabulous time staying at On the Rocks. We made many wonderful memories in a beautiful house in the most idyllic location- the perfect place to mark my husband’s 60th birthday!

We have now stayed at On the Rocks three times and have just booked our fourth visit. It is a fantastic house in a fantastic location; I wish it was mine! The owner is always very helpful which makes everything very smooth.

On the Rocks is warm and welcoming and is in a wonderful position, so close to the water that you can swim, or boat from the end of the garden. The light, airy bedrooms all had beautiful views across the water, and also exceptionally comfy beds! This is definitely the perfect house to stay in for anyone who enjoys being really close to the sea and all that the coast has to offer. Extremely clean house, bedrooms very inviting and well prepared.

We enjoyed a very relaxing few days in this gloriously located house with views up and down the creek. The house was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped.

I have been pining for the house and the creek ever since I left – a slice of heaven on this earth. Incredible to have everything you want to do in Cornwall from boating to swimming to walking to wildlife spotting (a seal came to say, “Hi” one day!) literally on the doorstep. The house is comfortable and there’s a view to die for from almost every room. The roof terrace for a morning cup of tea was a particular highlight. The sun shone for our stay and we thought – Caribbean eat your heart out… but I imagine even in the English cloud and grey it would still be stunning. I can’t imagine not coming back.

We have just booked for our fourth year at On The Rocks. What a fabulous house! We take three generations of the family and dogs. There are amazing views from every window, lots of opportunities to watch the wildlife and it’s right on the coast path for walking. You can swim in the sea, take your boat to moor at the boatyard across the water. The house has everything you need: Luxury bed linen, lovely bathrooms and a kitchen with everything you need. Highly recommend , it’s a glorious place.

With all our family and friends we have stayed more than once at the newly renovated Halamana, which can easily and very comfortably accommodate a full 12 people. The house is in a unique position right on the water opposite St Anthony, but also completely private. The new owners have done a fantastic job with the house, with no expense spared to make it as comfortable as possible. The AGA and hot tub are also really useful extras for those chilly returns from the beach or the paddle board. Halamana is also located close to the Coast Path, so great for all local walking also.
